"Other Voices: Corporations Are Not People; Money Is Not Speech" -- SCC-MTA activists Judy Young, Richard Hobbs and Mary Klein discuss corporate personhood.  Recorded on May 1, 2012 by PPJC Videos.

Please note that although we appreciate the opportunity to present our views in a PPJC video, SCC-MTA is not formally associated with the Peninsula Peace and Justice Center.  Note also that some of the views expressed in the video are those of the individuals, and not positions endorsed by SCC-MTA.

"Judge Waite and Corporate Personhood" -- A half-hour play by W. A. Barrett.  Judge Morrison Waite is resurrected from the dead, and asked to account for his 1886 corporation-as-person decision.  He's shown some of the fateful consequences of that decision, and later regrets his carelessness in letting his court clerk, J. Bancroft Davis write "corporations are persons" into the decisions' headnote.  Players:  George Antoine, judge; Marc Bashara, prosecutor; Rosa Antoine, coal miner's daughter; William Barrett, Judge Waite.  Photography by Phil Pflager, directed by Ann Pflager.  Filmed at the PPJC.
